Delivery Associate
Job Description
We are always looking for a delivery associate who can work for us as a full-timer, part-timer, weekend & or night shifts so that you can make use of your time wisely and earn more money.
Duties:
- Responsible for collecting the delivery items from the warehouses/Pickup location.
- Ensure the safe delivery of items at the customers place on time.
- Cross check if correct items are picked up and delivered.
- Responsible for collecting the right amount of payment from the customers.
- Report or update the delivered items information correctly.
Who could be ideal for this Job?
- You should have a Bike and Driving license
- One who is passionate to drive/ride the bike
Key Responsibilities:
1. Loading and Transporting Goods:

Load products onto the delivery vehicle according to delivery schedules and routes.

Ensure the items are properly secured to prevent damage during transport.

Check that the correct products are loaded and are in good condition before leaving the warehouse or distribution center.
2. Route Management and Timeliness:
-
Follow the designated delivery route and ensure timely deliveries.
-
Use GPS or mapping software to navigate to customer locations.
-
Adjust routes in real time based on traffic conditions, road closures, or any unforeseen events.

Ensure deliveries are made within the agreed-upon timeframe and in compliance with company guidelines.
3. Customer Interaction:
-
Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.

Deliver packages to customers’ homes or businesses as per instructions.

Obtain customer signatures or other forms of acknowledgment upon delivery.

Address customer questions or concerns politely and escalate issues to management if needed.
4. Package Inspection and Delivery Confirmation:

Ensure that the correct item is delivered to the correct customer.

Inspect packages for any damages or issues before delivery and report discrepancies.

Ensure proper documentation of deliveries, including tracking numbers, delivery receipts, and signatures.
5. Documentation and Reporting:

Keep accurate records of deliveries made and report any issues or delays.

Complete and submit any required paperwork, such as delivery logs or receipt forms, after each delivery.

Report back to the warehouse or operations manager if there are discrepancies with the delivery or inventory.
6. Vehicle Maintenance and Safety:

Ensure the delivery vehicle is properly maintained and safe to operate.

Perform basic vehicle maintenance such as checking tire pressure, oil levels, and fuel.

Follow traffic and safety laws and guidelines while driving.

Maintain cleanliness and organization in the vehicle.
7. Handling Returns and Exchanges:

Manage any returns or exchanges in a courteous and professional manner.

Coordinate with the warehouse team to facilitate returns or ensure proper processing of exchange items.
8. Team Collaboration:
-
Work with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure a smooth handover of goods for delivery.

Communicate with the operations supervisor to provide feedback on delivery challenges or issues.
