Job Description
Note - Rider must have owned bike & android phone, all documents like Aadhar card/ Pan card/ Driving licence.
Key Responsibilities
1. Order Pickup and Delivery
-
Pick up grocery or food orders from assigned restaurants, stores, or warehouses.

Verify the contents of the order against the delivery receipt or app instructions.

Deliver items to customers' homes or offices on time, using the shortest and safest route.

Ensure that food and grocery items are handled properly, especially hot or cold products.
2. Customer Interaction
-
Communicate politely and professionally with customers during delivery.

Follow customer instructions (e.g., contactless delivery, specific drop-off points).

Inform the customer or supervisor in case of delays, wrong addresses, or order-related issues.

Collect cash on delivery (COD) payments where applicable and handle it responsibly.
3. Navigation and Planning
-
Use mobile apps such as Google Maps, company navigation tools, or delivery apps to find accurate routes.

Plan routes efficiently to reduce travel time and fuel usage.

Avoid traffic-heavy zones during peak hours whenever possible.
4. Safety and Compliance
-
Follow traffic rules and drive safely at all times.

Wear helmet and delivery uniform as per company policy.

Maintain hygiene standards, especially while delivering food (clean hands, sanitized delivery bags).

Ensure regular servicing and maintenance of the delivery vehicle (bike/scooter).
5. Reporting and Coordination

Communicate with dispatchers or supervisors for order updates and feedback.

Report undelivered or cancelled orders, payment issues, or customer complaints.

Maintain delivery logs and handover records if required.
