Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
1. Parcel Delivery:
-
Pick up small parcels from the company hub or assigned pickup points.

Deliver packages to customers' homes, offices, or designated locations as per schedule.

Obtain customer signatures or OTP verification for each delivery to confirm successful handover.
-
Handle parcels with care to avoid damage, especially fragile items like electronics or glassware.
2. Route Management:
-
Plan and follow the most efficient routes to deliver packages on time.

Use GPS apps or company delivery software for route navigation and order tracking.

Update supervisors in case of traffic delays, customer unavailability, or address issues.
3. Documentation and Reporting:
-
Maintain records of deliveries made, parcels pending, and any customer-related feedback.

Report undelivered parcels back to the hub and follow the correct return protocol.

Submit cash or payment receipts (if Cash on Delivery is involved) as per daily procedure.
4. Customer Interaction:

Communicate professionally and politely with customers during deliveries.

Assist customers with questions related to package handling, return process, or payment.

Escalate any unusual issues (e.g., customer disputes, safety concerns, incorrect deliveries) to the team lead immediately.
5. Vehicle Responsibility (if using personal or company vehicle):
-
Ensure the vehicle (bike/scooter) is in good working condition and regularly serviced.

Maintain cleanliness and follow road safety norms at all times.

Refuel (as per company policy) and keep records of kilometers traveled.
