Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
1. Pick-Up and Delivery:

Collect goods from the warehouse, store, restaurant, or vendor location as assigned.

Deliver items to customers or clients at specified addresses following predefined routes or schedules.

Ensure timely and accurate deliveries in accordance with customer expectations and company policies.
2. Documentation and Verification:

Verify the quantity and type of items before loading and during delivery.

Obtain signatures, OTPs, or digital confirmations from customers to complete the delivery process.

Collect payments (Cash on Delivery) where applicable and provide accurate change when needed.
3. Customer Interaction:
-
Communicate with customers in a polite and professional manner.

Answer basic customer queries or refer them to the customer service department when necessary.

Handle customer complaints or issues during delivery with patience and report unresolved matters to supervisors.
4. Product Handling and Safety:
-
Handle packages with care to avoid damage during transit.

Ensure fragile, perishable, or high-value goods are delivered in good condition.

Follow safety protocols, traffic rules, and driving regulations at all times.
5. Vehicle and Equipment Maintenance:
-
Conduct routine checks on the delivery vehicle or bike to ensure it is in proper working condition.

Keep the vehicle clean and fueled, and report any malfunctions or accidents immediately.

Use company-provided delivery bags, helmets, or protective equipment as required.
6. Reporting and Coordination:

Report delivery status to the supervisor or dispatch team regularly.

Update delivery logs or use mobile delivery apps to track order status.

Coordinate with dispatchers, customer support, and warehouse teams to resolve delivery issues.
