Job Description

We are the distributor of laboratory goods, need a candidate for delivery and other office work like bank etc. need a person who have idea about areas in Kolkata. Duty time starting from 11am to 6pm generally but candidate should be flexible for the timing.

Key Responsibilities

1. Timely and Safe Delivery

Pick up items from the designated dispatch point (warehouse, kitchen, or store).
Deliver packages or products to customers’ locations within the scheduled time frame.
Ensure goods are transported without any damage or tampering.

2. Route Planning and Navigation

Use GPS or route maps to find the most efficient and traffic-free routes.
Plan daily delivery schedules to maximize productivity and reduce delivery time.
Avoid traffic violations and follow all local transport regulations.

3. Customer Interaction

Maintain a professional and courteous attitude when interacting with customers.
Greet customers, confirm orders, and deliver packages with care and accuracy.
Collect payments (if applicable) and issue receipts or acknowledgments.

4. Order Verification and Handling

Double-check orders before leaving the dispatch point to ensure accuracy.
Handle fragile or perishable items with special care during transport.
Report any delivery discrepancies or damages to the supervisor immediately.

5. Documentation and Reporting

Maintain logs of deliveries made, payments collected, and issues encountered.
Submit daily delivery reports and receipts to the supervisor or logistics team.
Update delivery status in mobile apps or manual registers, as required.

6. Vehicle Maintenance and Cleanliness

Ensure the delivery vehicle (bike, cycle, scooter, or company van) is in good working condition.
Perform routine checks for fuel, oil, tire pressure, and lights.
Keep the vehicle clean, organized, and presentable.

7. Compliance and Safety

Follow traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times.
Wear company-provided uniforms and safety gear (helmet, gloves, etc.).
Avoid rash driving or risky behavior on the road.
