Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
1. Order Pickup and Delivery:

Collect orders from the supermarket packing area and ensure all items are packed securely and correctly.

Deliver orders to customers at their homes or workplaces within the specified time frame.

Ensure correct delivery of all products, as per the invoice or bill.
2. Customer Interaction:
-
Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.

Obtain signatures upon delivery and confirm customer satisfaction.

Handle basic customer queries or direct them to the appropriate store personnel.
3. Payment Collection (if applicable):
-
Collect cash or digital payments as per customer invoice (if Cash on Delivery is enabled).

Maintain accurate records of collected payments and submit them to the store cashier or supervisor.
4. Documentation and Records:
-
Maintain a delivery log including time, customer details, items delivered, and any incidents during delivery.

Report any failed deliveries, customer complaints, or order discrepancies to the supervisor promptly.
5. Vehicle & Safety Maintenance:
-
Ensure delivery vehicle (bike/scooter/van) is clean, well-maintained, and roadworthy.

Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations during deliveries.

Use safety gear such as helmets, and adhere to COVID-19 or hygiene protocols when delivering groceries.
6. Store Assistance (Optional / As Required):

Assist in loading/unloading stock, packing customer orders, or restocking shelves during non-peak delivery hours.

Support the store team in inventory and cleanliness tasks when not on delivery duty.
