Job Title: Delivery Boy
Job Summary:
We are looking for a reliable and punctual Delivery Boy to transport goods safely and efficiently to customers. The ideal candidate should have a valid driving license, knowledge of local routes, and excellent time management skills. This role requires handling deliveries with care, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining delivery records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pick up and deliver parcels, food, groceries, or other goods to customers on time.
- Verify customer details, addresses, and order items before delivery.
- Collect cash or digital payments, if applicable.
- Ensure the safe handling of products during transit.
- Follow traffic rules and safety regulations while driving.
- Maintain delivery logs and update the tracking system as required.
- Provide excellent customer service and handle queries professionally.
- Report any delays, accidents, or vehicle issues to the supervisor.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Minimum 10th, high school education (preferred but not mandatory).
- Valid driving license (two-wheeler or four-wheeler as required).
- Experience in food, e-commerce, or courier delivery is an advantage.
- Good knowledge of local roads and navigation apps (Google Maps, Waze, etc.).
- Physically fit and able to lift lightweight packages.
- Smartphone with internet access for tracking and communication (preferred).
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
