Urgent Hiring: Delivery Executives for Zepto – Chennai
We are hiring Delivery Executive/Delivery Boy for Zepto across all areas of Chennai.
Location: Chennai (All localities)
Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time / Flexible timings available
Salary: ₹30,000 – ₹50,000 per month
Joining Bonus: Up to ₹6,000
Eligibility Criteria:

Pickup and Delivery:
-
Pick up packages, food orders, or products from the designated pickup point.

Deliver items to customers safely and within the expected delivery time frame.

Ensure that the right item is delivered to the right person at the right address.

Customer Interaction:
-
Greet customers politely and maintain a professional and courteous attitude.

Handle basic customer queries related to the order or delivery.
-
Collect payments if Cash on Delivery (COD) is applicable.

Use of Technology:
-
Use mobile apps or GPS devices to find delivery addresses and optimize delivery routes.

Update delivery status in real-time using the company’s application or delivery platform.

Communicate with the dispatch team or supervisors through the app or phone.

Handling Products:
-
Ensure that products are handled with care and delivered in good condition.
-
For food delivery, maintain hygiene and keep the food warm or cold as required.

Handle fragile or perishable goods responsibly.

Documentation and Records:
-
Maintain delivery logs and records of payments or receipts.
-
Collect customer signatures or delivery confirmation, where applicable.

Report completed deliveries and any issues faced during delivery.

Vehicle Management (if using own vehicle):

Keep the vehicle (bike/scooter) in good condition.

Refuel and maintain vehicle regularly.
-
Carry necessary vehicle documents (license, registration, insurance, etc.).
