Job Description
Valid Driving License
Key Responsibilities
1. Parcel Delivery
-
Deliver Flipkart parcels to customers on time as per the assigned delivery route.

Ensure safe handling of products to avoid damages or losses.
-
Verify delivery addresses and ensure packages reach the correct recipient.
-
Handle fragile and high-value parcels carefully during transit.
2. Cash Collection (COD Orders)
-
Collect payments from customers for Cash on Delivery orders.
-
Verify the amount before accepting payments and provide receipts if required.
-
Ensure safe handling and submission of collected cash to the company as per process.
3. Customer Interaction & Support
-
Greet customers politely and maintain a professional attitude during deliveries.
-
Provide assistance if customers have queries related to the parcel, payment, or return process.
-
Escalate customer concerns to the delivery hub manager or customer support team if needed.
4. Record Maintenance & Documentation
-
Update the delivery status on the company’s mobile application or system.
-
Maintain accurate daily delivery logs and payment records.
-
Report undelivered parcels, returns, or customer refusals immediately.
5. Coordination & Communication
-
Coordinate with the delivery hub manager for parcel dispatch schedules.
-
Inform the supervisor about traffic delays, route diversions, or any delivery issues.
-
Work closely with the warehouse, operations, and customer support teams for smooth workflow.
Required Skills & Competencies
1. Communication Skills
-
Basic verbal communication in Hindi, English, or regional languages.
-
Ability to interact with customers politely and handle queries professionally.
2. Time Management
-
Strong punctuality and ability to deliver parcels within the assigned timelines.
-
Prioritize urgent deliveries and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
3. Navigation & Route Knowledge
-
Familiarity with local routes, shortcuts, and traffic conditions.
-
Ability to use Google Maps and GPS-enabled delivery apps for optimized navigation.
4. Customer Service Orientation
-
Positive and helpful attitude towards customers.
-
Ability to handle difficult situations or refusals calmly and professionally.
5. Technical Skills
-
Knowledge of using mobile applications for scanning, OTP verification, and updating delivery status.

Basic understanding of digital payment methods (UPI, cards, wallets, etc.).
