Job Description
Position Summary
We are hiring a responsible and hard-working Delivery Executive to handle the daily distribution of flavored milk products from shop to shop. The ideal candidate will ensure timely delivery, collect payments from clients, and submit sales and cash collection reports to the office each day.
This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, excellent time management skills, and a professional attitude. A valid two-wheeler driving license and access to a personal or company-assigned two-wheeler are mandatory.
This is a field-based job involving regular visits to retail outlets, grocery shops, and local vendors within an assigned route.
Key Responsibilities
1. Product Delivery

Deliver flavored milk bottles or packets to designated shops and retailers as per the daily delivery schedule.

Load products onto the vehicle from the warehouse or dispatch point, ensuring quantity accuracy and proper handling.

Verify the product list and quantity before leaving the warehouse and again at the time of delivery to each shop.

Follow a fixed or assigned route for efficient and timely delivery.

Ensure products are delivered in good condition and meet company quality standards.
2. Payment Collection

Collect payments (cash or digital) from shops immediately after each delivery as per the billing invoice.

Issue proper receipts or invoices to clients upon payment.

Safely handle and secure all collected cash throughout the day.

Maintain records of any pending payments or dues and notify the supervisor accordingly.
3. Reporting and Documentation

Submit a daily sales report after completing all deliveries, including:

Total quantity delivered

Amount collected

Shop-wise payment status (Paid/Pending)

Deposit collected cash at the office at the end of each working day.

Provide a summary of any delivery issues, client complaints, or pending orders to the office staff.

Maintain and return all delivery documentation, such as signed delivery slips, invoices, and payment records.
4. Customer Interaction and Relationship Maintenance

Build and maintain positive relationships with shop owners and staff.

Answer basic questions about the product, pricing, or promotions, and refer complex queries to the sales team.

Communicate any client concerns, stock requests, or feedback to the supervisor for follow-up.

Be courteous, punctual, and professional in all interactions.
5. Vehicle Maintenance and Safety

Use a two-wheeler for daily deliveries—either company-provided or personal (with allowance, if applicable).

Ensure the vehicle is maintained in good working condition, with regular servicing.

Follow traffic rules and practice safe driving at all times.

Keep all required vehicle documents (license, registration, insurance, PUC) valid and updated.
Eligibility Criteria

Minimum educational qualification: 10th pass (preferred but not mandatory).

Prior experience in delivery, field sales, or logistics is an added advantage.

Must own or be able to operate a two-wheeler.

Must possess a valid two-wheeler driving license.
-
Familiarity with local routes, shops, and delivery areas is preferred.
