Job Description
Key Responsibilities

Order Collection and Delivery

Collect groceries from the designated store, warehouse, or pickup point.

Deliver groceries to customers’ homes or offices within the stipulated time.

Handle goods with care, ensuring perishable and fragile items are delivered safely.

Timely and Accurate Delivery
-
Follow the delivery route and time schedule provided by the company.

Ensure correct orders are delivered to the right customers.

Manage multiple deliveries efficiently within a given shift.

Customer Interaction
-
Greet customers politely and maintain a professional attitude.

Confirm delivery details with the customer and ensure satisfaction.

Collect feedback or report customer concerns to the company.

Payment Handling
-
Collect cash payments if applicable and hand them over securely as per company policy.

Assist customers with digital payment options when required.
-
Ensure transparency and accountability in all financial transactions.
-

Vehicle and Equipment Maintenance
-
Use company-provided vehicles (bike/scooter/e-cycle) or personal vehicles for delivery.

Keep the delivery bag, box, or storage clean and organized.
-
Report any maintenance or repair needs of the vehicle promptly.

Safety and Compliance

Follow all traffic rules, safety guidelines, and company protocols while delivering.

Wear the company’s uniform or identification badge if provided.

Ensure food safety standards are maintained for groceries, especially perishables.

Reporting and Communication

Update delivery status in the company’s mobile app or system.

Inform supervisors of delivery completion, payment collection, or issues faced.

Maintain communication with dispatch teams for route updates and instructions.
