Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
1. Order Pickup and Delivery

Pick up food, beverages, or grocery items from designated vendors such as restaurants, cloud kitchens, grocery stores, or warehouses.

Deliver items to customers at their homes, offices, or other specified locations safely and on time.

Follow proper packaging handling procedures to ensure items are not damaged or spilled during transit.

Use route-optimization tools or in-app navigation to minimize delivery time.
2. Customer Interaction
-
Communicate with customers via call or app messaging if needed (e.g., in case of address clarification or delays).

Be polite, courteous, and professional in all customer interactions.

Confirm order delivery by collecting digital confirmation (OTP, signature, or in-app scan) as per company protocol.
3. Vehicle and Equipment Use
-
Use a two-wheeler, bicycle, or car (depending on platform requirements) for deliveries.

Ensure vehicle is well-maintained, fueled, and meets road safety and compliance standards.

Carry delivery bags or boxes provided by the company to keep items secure and temperature-controlled (hot/cold).
4. App and Process Compliance
-
Log in and accept delivery orders through the assigned delivery partner app.

Follow guidelines for order tracking, customer communication, and proof of delivery.

Report any issues such as delays, traffic blocks, or item discrepancies through the app or to the supervisor.
5. Safety and Hygiene
-
Follow all road safety regulations and drive responsibly at all times.

Adhere to hygiene and sanitation standards, especially while delivering food and perishable goods.

Wear proper delivery gear (helmet, gloves, ID badge, mask if required).
