Job Description
Full time & Part time
Key Responsibilities:
1. Pick-Up and Delivery:
-
Collect packages or food orders from designated warehouses, restaurants, or shops.

Deliver items to customers at their homes or offices within the scheduled timeframe.

Follow route plans and GPS navigation to reach destinations efficiently.

Handle multiple deliveries per day, depending on volume and location.
2. Customer Interaction:
-
Communicate politely and professionally with customers during pickup and drop-off.

Contact the customer in case of delays, address changes, or issues.

Collect digital signatures, OTPs, or confirmations as proof of delivery.
3. Package and Food Handling:
-
Ensure items are handled with care and delivered in good condition.

Secure packages in delivery bags or compartments to prevent damage or spillage.

Maintain hygiene and safety standards, especially for food deliveries.
4. Documentation and Reporting:

Use a mobile app or handheld device to update delivery status in real-time.

Report any delivery failures, customer complaints, or delays to the supervisor or support team.

Complete required documentation such as delivery slips, receipts, or e-payment confirmations.
5. Payment Handling (If Applicable):

Collect cash-on-delivery (COD) payments when required.

Handle cash and digital payments accurately and securely.

Submit collected amounts to the company as per the process.
6. Safety and Compliance:

Follow traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company driving guidelines.

Wear a helmet and safety gear while riding (mandatory for bike delivery).

Maintain a clean and professional appearance during deliveries.
