Job Description
Job Summary:
We are looking for a reliable and responsible Delivery Rider to join our grocery delivery team. You will be the face of our company, responsible for delivering grocery items safely and promptly to customers’ doorsteps. The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of local routes, a valid driving license, and a commitment to excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:

Pick up grocery items from the store or warehouse and deliver them accurately to customers within the scheduled time.

Verify the items before delivery to ensure accuracy and quality.

Maintain proper handling of grocery items to avoid damage or spoilage.

Follow assigned routes and manage time efficiently to ensure timely delivery.

Communicate with customers to confirm deliveries and handle any delivery-related queries politely.

Collect payment if required and issue receipts.

Maintain the cleanliness and good condition of the delivery vehicle (bike/scooter).

Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations.

Report any issues or incidents to the delivery supervisor promptly.

Assist in loading and unloading grocery items when necessary.
Required Skills & Qualifications:

Valid two-wheeler driving license.

Good knowledge of local roads and traffic patterns.

Physical stamina to handle delivery duties and carry grocery bags.

Basic literacy to read addresses and communicate effectively.

Punctuality, reliability, and a customer-friendly attitude.

Ability to handle a smartphone and use delivery apps (if applicable).

Previous delivery experience is a plus but not mandatory.
