Job Summary
A Dentist is a licensed healthcare professional responsible for diagnosing, preventing, and treating diseases and conditions of the oral cavity, gums, and teeth. Dentists provide both restorative and preventative care, ensuring the overall oral health of patients across various age groups. The role combines medical expertise, patient care, and manual precision to deliver high-quality dental services in a safe and hygienic environment.
The ideal candidate will have strong clinical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a compassionate approach to patient care. Dentists may work independently or as part of a dental healthcare team alongside dental assistants, hygienists, and other specialists.
- Dentist would be responsible for patient care, inventory management, infection control, training and supervision of team members.
- She/he is responsible for entire checking and maintaining the inventory of consumable and non-consumable.
- Preparation of surgical instruments, linen, anaesthetic articles, drugs and necessary sutures.
- Check all gases, suction, and all other supportive equipment to be ready.
- Check and receive with all reports, records and all other pre- operative checklist.
- Necessary arrangements to be done to send the patients to the respective wards with all postoperative instruction and records.
- Necessary cleaning to be done to get ready for next case using disinfectant.
