Job Description

Applications are invited for filling up the posts or Deputy Director General (Extension) and Deputy Director General (Admin.) in the pay scale at Level-15 of pay Matrix of 7fi CPC on deputation basis in Indian Council of Forestry Research and Education (ICFRE), Dehra Dun in pay scales indicated against the post with allowances as admissible under rules in ICFRE

1. For the post Pepgtv Director General (Extension). Dehra Dun

A. For Members of Indian Forest Service

a. Essential Qualifications: A serving member of Indian Forest Service having completed 26 years of service with reference to year of allotment

b. Desirable Qualifications: Doctoral Degree Knowledge of modern extension methodology and Information and Communication Technology Experience in Forestry Research, Extension & Education OR

i. For Scientists:

a. Essential Qualifications: A candidate having First Class Master Degree in Basic Sciences/Agriculture & Allied Sciences/Forestry & Allied Sciences/Social Science from a recognized University, with 26 years of service with reference to the date of appointment as Group 'A' Scientist, and who has 15 years experience in Forestry Research/Extension or Education. The time spent in obtaining Ph.D. degree shall not be counted towards this minimum required experience, unless the Scientist has held charge ofa tegular post in required field concunently.

b Desirable Qualifications: I. Doctoral Degree 2. Knowledge Of modern extension methodology and Information and Communication Technology

2. DY. Director General (Admin.). ICFRF„ Dun B. For Members of Indian Forest Service

a. Essential Qualifications: A serving member of Indian Forest Sewice having completed 26 years of service with reference to year of allotment

For Scientists: Essential Qualifications: A candidate having First Class Master Deglee in Basic Sciences/Agriculture/Forestry/Management/Social Sciences from a læccgnized University with 26 years of service with reference to the date or appointment as Group 'A' Scientist, and who has 15 years experience in Forestry Research/Extension or Educations.

Desirable Qualifications; For both members of Indian Forest Service and Scientists Working experience of Personnel/AdministrativeJFinancial matters at senior level in the Government Or similar Research/Educational organ ization. Experience in prepaiütion of budget and its control, maintenance Of organizational accounts. Conversant with all Government Rules and Regulations regarding financial and administrative matters of the Government/Autonomous bodies including audit or Accounts.

Tenure: The tenure of deputation shall ordinarily be five years or till superannuation, whichever is earlier, and as per guidelines of the Government of India.

Age Limit:Not exceeding 57 years as on 30.092019.
