Job Description

kotak Life Insurance Insurance invites Applications for MidOffice Deputy Manager.

Tentative timeline for Online application: 4th October 2018

Interview Location:Mumbai

Education: Engineer(B.E/B.Tech) freshers(IT/Computer only)/ BCA /MCA /BSc IT/Computer

PAY SCALE:2.5LPA + Variable component basis the performance

OBJECTIVE OF THE ROLE

Requirement Gathering for new projects

  • Requirement gathering for the new projects aligning with other departments to understand the complete flow of the process.
  • Scheduling meeting for the requirement discussion & finalization.
  • Preparation of process flow & flow chart.
  • Coordinating with Digital , IT & required departments to freeze the undertaken decisions.
  • Documentation of the finalised process considering all the business process is been covered.
  • Analysis of all the risk & impact incurred during the requirement gathering stage itself.
  • Preparation of all the possible test cases with the support of UAT team to validate all the business constraints.
  • Preparation of BRD covering all the business conditions & validations which need to be built in prescribed way.
  • To check the FSD shared by IT as per the given BRD.
  • Regular follow up is done to meet the timelines as per the project plan.
  • To support the UAT team where ever needed to clear the logical business queries & expectation during the testing phase.
  • To keep track of number of bugs & issues occurrence in UAT delivery & get the same smoothly resolved as early as possible to carry the UAT on track.
  • Follow up to close the UAT shows topper bugs which hamper the project timelines.
  • Required data is been shared to the UAT team whenever needed to complete the testing of the application.
  • The process flow is reviewed & tested before providing business sign off.
  • Final Testing of complete flow and validations is been checked in production after deployment.
  • Project is been broadcasted for usage to the master policy holder & sales coordinator.
  • Special training is been conducted to train the customer about the new features & facilities available in portal
  • .

    Production issue Support.

  • Preparation of Change request to enhance the current functionality or production issue in portal.
  • To overcome the present application issues like Slowness, non-functioning of the available functionality.
  • Issue is been Call logged & overviewed the same to the production support team for resolution.
  • Follow up for the raised issue for resolution.
  • The issues are tested after the final resolution from Support team.
  • Weekly meeting are scheduled to discuss on the priorities of the open issues.
  • Minutes of meeting are prepared with all the actionable described.
  • Policy movement

  • Policy mapping for the new on boarding client in Suraksha portal.
  • Followed up & planned Right from the configuration, testing to the production deployment.
  • List of policies tracked & planned accordingly for deployment as per the business demand.
  • Deployed policies is tracked for usage.
  • Branch mapping of the policy through front end.
  • Testing of the policy after deployment in production.
  • IP whitelisting & port opening.

  • IP whitelisting of clients on boarding in Suraksha portal.
  • API IP whitelisting
  • Port opening for file transfer
  • Follow up for new sftp folder creation for the customer.
  • Training & Sales Application Support

  • Complete training for new client on boarding in Suraksha portal.
  • Application support to the clients throughout, whenever & wherever any issue or error occurred during uploads.
  • Follow up done with the Sales team to get the data uploaded in portal for every policy.
  • Customer queries support.
  • Tracking of Ticket Raised

  • Follow up & Tracking of the ticket raised during the course of time.
