Job Description
• Statutory Compliance:
• Ensure 100% compliance under various labour laws applicable to our manufacturing sites.
• Timely perform the compliance in CATS for Unit-I, Unit-2.
• To handle all court cases related to labour laws with proactive approach to ensure decision in genuine cases in company favour.
• To Liaison, in ensuring compliance under the various labor laws like Factory Act, PF, ESIC, Employment Exchange, Payment of Wages etc. applicable to our manufacturing sites.
• To establish very good relation with all government officials.
• Update to all stake-holder recent amendments in the laws and ensure the compliance accordingly.
• Prepare letter and issue to concerned one to maintain disciplinary at site.
• Contract Compliance Management
• To meet the production plan & requirement of the plant manager, arrange contract labor through agency under approved budget limit.
• To ensure that there should not be production loss due to non-supply of manpower.
• To monitor contact Manpower used and accordingly recruit and rationalize time to time.
• To visit on shop floor to review the proper utilization of available & supplied resources appropriately.
• To keep a track of various Statutory Compliance as per Contract Labor Act as applicable to our manufacturing site.
• To ensure that all the records and reports and maintained and updated regularly.
• To Check & Maintain the record of Contract Workmen from the contractor as per the statutory requirement.
• The Ensure the Timely Payment of Contract Workmen
• . Industrial Relations
• To arrange meeting with union members on regular basis and keep interaction with them to understand their genuine concern and resolve them to maintain harmonious relations.
• Keep workers informed regarding new initiatives, goals etc. through companywide communication.
• To organize various welfare initiatives to motivate employees
• To prepare & analysis the salary and other benefits data for Long term settlement and execute the terms as agreed on shop floor.
• Performance Management System
• Co-ordination and follow-up with concerned employees/HODs to get complete the annual goal/midterm review and final KRA assessment in the system by given time line
• To support HR Head in data compilation and moderation exercise by providing value added inputs regarding employees’ performance on the job and highlight if any behavioral issues.
• To prepare employees related data as per the guideline given by HR Head
• Updating the revised salary to the Payroll system & verifying the same.
• Response to employees on queries related to Performance Reward.
• Ensure to file reward letter in personal service file of concerned employee.
• Employee Engagement Activity:
• To arrange the employee engagement activity as per Umang Calendar.
• To update record the Employee Engagement Activity & send the same to Corporate HR every month.
• Execution of various corporate initiatives/drives on shop floor. Participating in CFTs meeting of the Plant and address HR related issue/concern as required.
