You will join our REC department

As our new Design Engineer - Bridges & Civils you will be part of a world class, innovation driven engineering design centre owned by an independent trust and its employees. REC is a highly sophisticated center of engineering excellence and based in our India head office in Gurgaon. Working in partnership with all our established offices globally, the Ramboll Engineering Centre (REC) is a center for excellence in design by offering optimized solutions to the rest of the organization

Your key tasks and responsibilities will be

• Providing structural engineering solutions for ports & marine and bridge structures as per project requirements
• Numerical modelling for different structures
• Design reports, calculations
• Automation of processes by writing scripts, Mathcad, excel sheets etc.
• Guiding junior engineers with technical issues
• Communicating with BU counterparts for understanding technical requirements
• Ensuring required quality standards
• Adhering to ISO quality procedures
• Ensuring project delivery in line with project requirements and client expectations

• Sound engineering skills with International exposure(preferable) in ports & marine engineering
• Has experience in concrete and steel structures
• Experience of working towards contractors and attended to site related queries
• Experience in waterproof structures is preferable
• Experience in geotechnical constructions – sheet piles, piles etc., are given preference
• Knowledge of eurocodes is preferable
• Good analytical skills and problem-solving techniques
• Sound experience in engineering design and numerical modelling techniques in finite element analysis, drawings and 3D modelling (preferable)
• Understanding and possessing knowledge of modern numerical tools and traditional design methods.
• Should be a team player
• Good communication skills
• Enthusiastic and willing to engage
