To support drives function for Design activities
Liaise with Product groups in Headquarters to understand specific design requests
Knowledge of electronics hardware/components and usage in high voltage applications
Basic knowledge on electronic connectors with stamp contacts, installation and its safety protection for high voltage applications (below 1000V)
Good knowledge on the technical aspects of Insulation coordination standard
Strong knowledge in CAD (e.g. CATIA V5)
Independent creation of designs, child part & assembly drawings, Bill of materials for new and series production products in accordance with Brose standards and procedures
Basic knowledge of NEXTRA software used in accordance to meet insulation coordination requirement and interpretation of results together with specialists
Testing and validation requirement in Insulation coordination standard
Provides innovative ideas in product design and VA/VE ideas for a cost competitive product

BE Mechanical or comparable disciplines with 3 to 6 years of experience
Understanding on Insulation coordination information
Expert in CATIA-V5 3D modeling software
Hands on NEXTRA software will be an added advantage
Hands on basic engineering understanding and GD & T application based on the manufacturing feasibility and functionality point of view
Knowledge of automotive motors and its controllers
Good written and verbal communication
