Job Description
Designing mechanical components, assemblies, and systems using CAD software.
Developing and testing prototypes.
Analyzing product performance and recommending improvements.
Collaborating with engineers, designers, and manufacturing teams.
Required Skills & Competencies
Technical Skills:

Proficiency in CAD and design software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, NX, or Creo.

Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, or civil engineering principles (depending on specialization).

Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).

Understanding of material properties, manufacturing processes, and quality standards.

Knowledge of simulation tools like FEA, CFD, and 3D printing for prototyping.
Soft Skills:

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Creativity and innovation in design solutions.

Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
