Job Description

The Design Engineer is responsible for planning, developing, and improving product designs by converting concepts and requirements into detailed engineering drawings and specifications. The role involves collaboration with production, quality, and project teams to ensure designs are functional, cost-effective, and manufacturable.Key Responsibilities:Create 2D and 3D designs using CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, or CreoPrepare detailed drawings, BOMs, and technical documentationAnalyze design feasibility, materials, tolerances, and manufacturing methodsCoordinate with production, quality, and vendors to resolve design-related issuesModify existing designs to improve performance, quality, or costEnsure compliance with industry standards and customer specificationsSupport prototyping, testing, and validation activitiesParticipate in design reviews and continuous improvement initiatives
