Job Description
Desktop Support Engineer responsibilities include: Addressing user tickets regarding hardware, software and networking. Installation and configuration of windows. Troubleshooting of all types of Hardware, Network and software applications. Configuring & troubleshooting of desktop/ laptop for managing backup and recovery. Installation of printer and configuration. Maintain computer peripheral devices like printers and resolve associated problems. Oversee and update assigned support service requests. Handle daily technical support activities on desktop support, data network and server management. Setup desktop computers and peripherals and test network connections. Install and test desktop software applications and internet browsers. Test computers to ensure proper functioning of computer systems. Train end users on usage of computer hardware and software. Install, upgrade and support enterprise applications. Troubleshooting network connectivity in LAN/WAN environment. Hands on printer installation and troubleshooting. Perform general PM for computers, laptops and other devices. Maintain IT records, asset management. Hands on exp in installation and maintenance of Antivirus products. Troubleshoot and resolve basic issues utilizing company systems, utilities and support processes with assistance and direct oversight from team members
