Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Desktop Engineer to support our internal IT infrastructure by maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing desktop systems and associated hardware/software. The ideal candidate should be technically sound, customer-friendly, and capable of handling onsite and remote user issues promptly.
As a Desktop Engineer, you will be the first line of support for end-users, ensuring that desktops, laptops, printers, and basic networking run smoothly across the organization.
- Troubleshooting: Identifying and resolving hardware, software, and network issues for users.
- Installation and Configuration: Setting up new computers, software, and peripherals, and configuring them to meet user needs.
- User Support: Responding to user inquiries and providing timely solutions to technical problems.
- System Maintenance: Performing regular maintenance, updates, and security checks on computer systems.
- Documentation: Keeping records of support activities, solutions, and inventory of hardware and software.
- Collaboration: Working with other IT teams to address complex technical issues.
