Desktop Support Engineer
Job Description
We are looking for a Desktop Support Engineer to join our team in Chennai. The candidate will be responsible for providing technical support for desktops, laptops, and IT equipment. The role includes installing and configuring hardware and software, troubleshooting system and network issues, and ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations. The candidate should handle printer setup, basic networking, system updates, and virus protection. They will also provide on-site and remote support, respond to service requests, and ensure minimal downtime for business operations.
The ideal candidate should have a degree or diploma in IT or a related field, with basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking. Good communication skills in Tamil and basic English are required. Freshers or candidates with up to 2 years of experience can apply. The candidate should be a problem solver, able to work independently and as part of a team, and willing to travel if required. Salary will be provided as per company standards.
