Job Description
As a Lead DevOps Engineer with 3 years of experience, you will spearhead the automation and optimization of our software delivery lifecycle. You will bridge the gap between development and operations by implementing robust CI/CD pipelines, managing cloud infrastructure, and ensuring high availability for all production systems. Your role is pivotal in driving technical excellence and mentoring junior team members to foster a culture of continuous improvement and reliability.
Design, implement, and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines to streamline code deployment and testing.
Manage and scale cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
Monitor system performance and reliability using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.
Collaborate with development teams to containerize applications using Docker and orchestrate them with Kubernetes.
Implement and enforce security best practices across the infrastructure and deployment processes.
Optimize cloud costs and resource utilization through regular audits and architectural improvements.
Lead the incident response process and perform root cause analysis for production issues.
Automate routine operational tasks using scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.
Maintain comprehensive documentation for infrastructure setups, deployment workflows, and troubleshooting guides.
Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on DevOps best practices and emerging technologies.
