Key Responsibilities

CI/CD Pipeline Management
Design, implement, and manage continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines. Automate build, test, and deployment processes to ensure rapid and reliable code delivery. -
Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
Use tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation to define and provision infrastructure automatically. Maintain reproducible and version-controlled environments across staging, development, and production. -
Cloud Infrastructure Management
Deploy, manage, and scale applications using public cloud services like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. Optimize cost, performance, and security of cloud resources. -
Monitoring and Logging
Set up and manage monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Datadog) to ensure system health and performance. Implement alerting systems to detect and respond to anomalies in real-time. -
Collaboration with Development Teams
Work closely with developers to understand requirements, support application architecture decisions, and ensure that systems are designed for scalability, reliability, and performance. -
Security and Compliance
Implement and enforce security best practices across infrastructure and deployment pipelines. Support compliance initiatives by automating auditing and documentation processes. -
Automation and Scripting
Automate repetitive tasks using scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell. Develop custom tools and scripts to enhance workflows and system efficiency. -
Configuration Management
Manage configuration files and environments using tools like Chef, Puppet, SaltStack, or Ansible. Maintain consistency across servers and environments. -
Incident Response and Troubleshooting
Participate in incident response efforts, root cause analysis, and resolution of production issues. Provide post-mortem documentation and drive preventative measures. -
Documentation and Knowledge Sharing
Document infrastructure, procedures, and processes clearly for cross-team reference. Mentor junior team members and promote a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning.
