Responsibilities :
- Create and support the continuous integration and release process for a fast-growing micro-service based cloud environment team
- Design, build and maintain the CI/CD infrastructure and tools.
- Containerization technology like Kubernetes - For automating deployment and scaling and management of containerized applications .
- Azure Devops - Automate builds and deployments using Azure pipelines and push images to container registries like Docker Hub and Azure container registry.
- Automation tools like Ansible/Puppet.
- Establishing continuous build environments on Azure DevOps.
- Responsible for developing the solutions based on customer requirements for all sorts of tools such as ALM Tools (Jira, Confluence, Git & Bitbucket) and CI/CD tools (Redshift, Jenkins, Nexus, Artifactory, SonarQube etc.)
- Develop CI/CD automation, stay abreast of industry best practices.
- Good knowledge on below DevOps technologies o ADO - Container build and deployments o Kubernetes o HELM o ISTIO.
- Contributor of new ideas for the improvements in DevOps practices, delivering innovation through automation and self-service tools.
- Contribute to the automation of multiple parts of infrastructure and deployment systems, striving to improve and shorten processes to enable engineering and operations teams work smarter and faster.
- Provide professional support for the developed automations, responding to incidents to avoid system outages or restore availability to meet SLAs.
- Build and establish new channels for the Operations and Development teams.
- Ability to review deployment and delivery pipelines i.e., implement initiatives to minimize chances of failure, identify bottlenecks and troubleshoot issues.
- Participate in the planning, design meetings, and implementation efforts. .
