Job Description
Required Skills and Experience
Hands-on experience in the development and operational support of a large-scale Kubernetes implementation – 3 years
Experience with AWS EKS essential, including Access Entries, Pod Identities, VPC-CNI and Karpenter – 2 years
Experience with AWS ECS & Fargate essential – 1 year
Practical experience in creating and managing Container images and packaging with Helm – 3 years
Knowledge and experience of GitOps approach and tooling (e.g. Flux CD or Argo CD) – 2 years
Using “Infrastructure as Code” (Terraform) in a Cloud environment (AWS, GCP or Azure) – 3 years
Experience in the configuration & management of CI/CD tooling, ideally using Azure DevOps and/or Jenkins – 3 years
Experience with scripting languages: BASH, Python, Groovy or equivalent programming experience – 3 years
Other Skills
Solid understanding of enterprise security principles & vulnerability management
Excellent general software development skills e.g. Git, IDEs etc...
Experience with developing serverless applications in AWS - advantageous
Hands-on experience with AWS services, including Lambda, API Gateway, EventBridge, Step Functions, SNS, and SQS - advantageous
Hands-on experience with AWS CDK - advantageous
Previous experience within Aviva - advantageous
