Job Description
National Housing Bank (NHB) invites applications from eligible candidates for appointment to various posts in
MMGS-III, SMGS-IV & V and TEGS-VI scales.
DGM /Manager/AGM
Desirable experience: Good understanding of market risk and/or liquidity management and/or operational risk, with exposure to analytics being an added desirable experience.
AGM (Economy and Strategy) /1 Post
AGM (Management Information System (MIS))/1 Post
Graduate degree, with – (a) professional qualification in Financial Risk Management from Global Association of Risk Professionals, or (b) Professional Risk Management Certification from PRMIA Institute; Desirable educational qualifications: (a) Holder of Chartered Financial Analyst charter awarded by CFA Institute, or (b) Designated as Chartered Accountant by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, or equivalent abroad, or (c) Designated as a Cost and Management Accountant by the Mandatory experience: 2 years’ experience in corporate credit and risk management at the level of Manager (Scale – II) or above in one or more PSBs, or having similar roles and responsibilities in one or more regulated lending entity, with minimum experience of one year in corporate credit and one year in risk management. Desirable experience: Good understanding of market risk and/or liquidity management and/or operational risk, with exposure to analytics being an added desirable experience.
Chartered Accountant (CA)/ Cost & Management Accountant (CMA/CWA)/ CFA or Graduate with MBA (Finance). 02 years’ experience in Banks / Financial Institutions handling Credit /Audit / Risk.

Post Graduate degree in Economics. Desirable: M.Phil., Ph.D. 3 years’ experience in Banks/Financial Institutions /Government Institutions / other public sector institutions in the areas related to economic research or strategic planning. Relevant experience in Banks/ Financial Institutions will be preferred.

Following that, the National Housing Bank Bill (91 of 1987) providing the legislative framework for the establishment of NHB was passed by Parliament in the winter session of 1987 and with the assent of the Hon’ble President of India on December 23, 1987, became an Act of Parliament.
