Job Summary

The Digital Marketing Executive is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing marketing campaigns that promote the company’s brand, products, or services through digital channels. This role plays a key part in increasing brand awareness, driving web traffic, acquiring leads or customers, and supporting overall digital marketing initiatives. The Digital Marketing Executive must have a strong understanding of current digital marketing tools and strategies and be able to lead integrated digital marketing campaigns from concept to execution.

Working closely with the marketing team, agencies, and other departments, the Digital Marketing Executive ensures that the brand’s voice and messaging are effectively delivered across multiple online platforms. The ideal candidate is creative, analytical, and passionate about driving business growth through digital strategies.

Key Responsibilities

1. Campaign Management

  • Plan and execute all digital marketing campaigns including SEO/SEM, email, social media, content marketing, and display advertising.

  • Monitor performance of campaigns and optimize based on key performance indicators (KPIs).

  • Collaborate with internal teams to create landing pages and optimize user experience.

2. Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Search Engine Marketing (SEM)

  • Perform on-page and off-page SEO activities including keyword research, link building, and website optimization.

  • Work with the content team to ensure SEO best practices are followed in content creation and website architecture.

  • Manage Google Ads campaigns and track performance metrics such as click-through rate (CTR), cost-per-click (CPC), and conversion rates.

3. Content Marketing

  • Assist in the creation of high-quality, engaging, and shareable content such as blogs, whitepapers, case studies, and social media posts.

  • Coordinate with designers, videographers, and writers to create multimedia content.

  • Ensure content is aligned with the overall brand tone, SEO strategy, and marketing goals.

4. Social Media Management

  • Manage the company’s presence across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, and YouTube.

  • Create and schedule regular posts, monitor engagement, and respond to comments and messages.

  • Use social media analytics tools to track performance and adjust strategies as needed.

5. Email Marketing

  • Plan and execute email marketing campaigns, newsletters, and drip campaigns.

  • Segment email lists based on behaviors like past email engagement and website interactions.

  • Monitor open rates, click-through rates, and conversions to improve performance.

6. Analytics and Reporting

  • Use tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and social media insights to evaluate campaign success.

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and campaign-specific reports highlighting key metrics, ROI, and areas of improvement.

  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on data analysis.

7. Website Management

  • Support website updates, content publishing, and performance monitoring.

  • Ensure website content is up-to-date, mobile-friendly, and aligned with SEO best practices.

  • Coordinate with developers or CMS teams for technical updates and feature enhancements.

8. Paid Media and Advertising

  • Plan and manage paid campaigns across platforms like Google Ads, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and programmatic networks.

  • Monitor budgets, bid strategies, and ad copy performance to ensure campaigns meet objectives.

  • A/B test ad creatives and messaging to optimize click and conversion rates.

9. Competitor and Market Analysis

  • Conduct research on industry trends, digital marketing innovations, and competitor campaigns.

  • Identify market gaps and new opportunities for digital growth.

  • Benchmark company performance against key competitors.

10. Collaboration and Communication

  • Coordinate with sales, product, and customer service teams to align digital marketing efforts with business goals.

  • Participate in brainstorming and creative sessions to generate new campaign ideas.

  • Stay updated with changes in digital marketing tools, trends, algorithms, and best practices.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of SEO, PPC, and content marketing.

  • Proficiency in social media platforms and digital advertising.

  • Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, or graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Photoshop) is advantageous.

  • Competence in using analytics and marketing automation tools.
