Job Description
Role:
Treespoon in need of a Digital Marketing & PPC Associate to help manage the strategic execution, optimization and reporting of paid media campaigns of our brand portfolio. The ideal prospect will primarily manage our paid campaigns on Amazon, Google and Facebook.
This role combines a well-rounded understanding of Amazon Advertising Console, Google Shopping Ads and Facebook Ads as well as a strong understanding of our business goals to provide guidance on growth opportunities and ensure execution of specific strategies.
Essential Functions:
- Build, drive and optimize successful marketing campaigns within Amazon Seller Central and other platforms:
- Campaign Launches: keyword & ad text creation/expansion, tracking set-up and the ability to provide instructions & QA tracking for all tools and engines.
- Campaign Management: negative keyword strategy, website & category exclusions, URL audits, keyword/ad text expansion, conflicting negatives, GDN campaigns (contextual, placement, & remarketing).
- Budget Management: manage daily budget tracking process to make sure monthly spending levels are on pace.
- Bid Management: implement bid rule strategy and optimization efforts at campaign, ad group, & keyword levels. Daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly/ bid optimizations.
- AB Testing: actively work to test keywords, ad copy, & landing pages, beta and 3rd party vendor tool testing.
- Optimize Amazon content and develop processes for effective launches supporting our product catalogue
- Identify new marketing opportunities and ways to repurpose existing content at Amazon to optimize a consumer experience and sales volume
- Daily use of reporting, analytics, and trend tools to optimize campaign performance and do keyword research
- Accountability & ownership with limited supervision of Paid Search program, successes, and failures for each platform and account.
Responsibilities:
- Build strategic media plans, research, rationalize and present recommendations on existing campaigns
- Facilitate timely and accurate campaign launches, including troubleshooting and resolving any issues with media vendors
- Precisely manage budgets, performance and goals
- Track, analyze and report data on an ongoing basis and report daily/weekly/monthly to senior management
Qualifications and Skills:
- 2-4 years’ experience in PPC, media planning and buying- Amazon, Google AdWords, Facebook
- In depth understanding and knowhow of Amazon Seller Central and Amazon Advertising Platform, Google Ads and Facebook Business Suite is a must
- Advanced computer skills, particularly Microsoft Excel (Macros, Pivot Tables etc.)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and G Suite (Gmail, Google Docs, Google Sheets, etc.)
- Strong organizational and analytics skills, with impeccable attention to detail
- Ability to troubleshoot, accept a challenge and undergo training to broaden skills
- Ability to multitask and manage various projects & deadlines
- Ability to work independently, but also as a team player
- Strong aptitude, with creative/innovative edge
- Excellent Communication Skills and ability to write quality reports, emails and other communications
Knowledge and understanding of the following would be an asset:
- Amazon Seller Central & Amazon Advertising Platform
- Google Analytics, Merchant Centre, AdWords, Data Studio, Tag Manager
- Facebook Business Suite
- Shopify Seller Portal and Integrations
- Adobe Photoshop, InDesign
- Search Engine Optimization
