Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Dimensional Control Engineer / Inspector to ensure precise measurement and alignment of structures, piping, and mechanical components in our projects. The role involves using advanced survey equipment, analyzing drawings, and collaborating with engineering and construction teams to maintain dimensional accuracy and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform dimensional measurements and inspections using Total Stations (e.g., Leica, Sokkia) and other survey equipment.
Verify and control dimensions of structural, piping, and mechanical components.
Interpret AutoCAD drawings and ISO/engineering drawings to ensure conformity with design specifications.
Use dimensional control software (e.g., BEST FIT) for data analysis and reporting.
Identify discrepancies, propose corrective actions, and maintain accurate records.
Collaborate with project teams, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
Follow site safety protocols, including working at height and other offshore/marine safety procedures when applicable.
Requirements:
Diploma, ITE, or higher education in Mechanical, Civil, Surveying, or related field.
2–3 years of experience as a Dimensional Controller, Inspector, or Surveyor.
Experience in Marine/Offshore industry preferred.
Proficiency in Total Stations, AutoCAD, and dimensional control software.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and 3D conceptual skills.
Good communication, teamwork, and ability to work independently.
Physically fit for on-site inspection work.
