Job Description

Tend manual, semiautomatic or automatic machines and related equipment in a continuous production operation.
Operate multi-machines simultaneously
Follow production/process specifications or instructions of higher-level technical personnel and monitors panel and related controls and guidelines to ensure adherence to production/process specifications.
Sets up machine requiring a high level of precision and interaction of multiple variables.
Checks work using prescribed measurement gauges, references to measure close tolerances. Some machines are numerically controlled.
Perform tests and checks product routinely for multiple characteristics using standard measuring devices and making some judgments against not readily measurable standards.
Report any malfunctions, errors or abnormalities and makes minor adjustments and set up for equipment.
Maintains production records and logs of equipment and product performance.
Should monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures and adopt do it Right approach to enhance productivity and reduce scrap.
Jobs may be of short, medium or long duration requiring a frequent change in set up and variation in the cycle.
Practice all health and safety procedures, policies and practices including LOTO.
Attend all required department meeting (MDI) and safety training.
Understands and implements procedures that relate to the role and responsibilities of a Machine Operator.
Shall carry out daily 5S and upkeep the hygiene of the work station/workplace. Should take ownership of the workplace and machine.
Shall carry out preventive maintenance and manage minor and day to day troubleshooting on the machine.
Shall carry out proper takeover and hand over the task assigned to the coworker.

Full-Time Diploma in ME / EE / PE / or Any other similar Diploma qualification
Candidates passed in year 2018/2019 only need to apply
0 to 1-year experience in any shopfloor/manufacturing environment
Basic computer operation knowledge with working on word/excel is a must.
Good ability to anticipate and troubleshoot problems
Good experience with or ability to learn multiple functions within the facility.
Good interpersonal skills, mathematical aptitude, technical aptitude and logical problem-solving skills necessary.
Ability to work independently in a safe and timely manner.
Must be motivated towards productivity improvements, safety and quality awareness
Shall acquire multiskills to operate different machines at a time
Shall have reading and writing proficiency in English.
