Director Job in Semi-Conductor Laboratory -ISRO at Chandigarh

Department of Space/Indian Space Research Organisation (DOS/ISRO) is looking for a suitable candidate for the position of Director at Semi-Conductor Laboratory (SCL), Chandigarh in Level 15 [HAG Scale] on deputation basis.

1. Name of the Post: Director 

2. Experience and Eligibility: Officers working under the Central or State Governments including autonomous bodies, R&D institutions holding analogous post on regular basis or with a minimum service of five years in the posts in Level 14 are eligible to apply.

3. Should possess the qualification of

(i) post graduation in Science or Engineering in the field of Electronics or Semicnnductor Physics

(ii) a minimum of 20 years of experience (a) in the field of microelectronics and/or (b) in the development of high reliability electronic deviæs/systems for aerospace applications.

4. Period of deputation includes the period of deputation to another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this deputation in the same or some other Organisation/Deputation from Central Govt. shall ordinarily not exceed 3 years.

5. The qualification prescribed is the minimum requirement and the same does not automatically make candidates eligible for interview. Based on bio-data, initial screening will be conducted to short-list candidates for interview.
