Eligibility Criteria: 1) A Doctoral degree in Public Administration/Urban Affairs/Social Sciences/Management.
15 years of experience in teaching /research and/or training at National, Regional, State
Level Urban Institutions or UGC/MHRD recognized institutions.
A minimum of three years’ experience in the subject of Urban Affairs/Urban Administration/ Urban training research institutions is essential.
An Eminent scholar with published works/research projects of high quality at National
and International level
The Director’s appointment is tenure based for a period of 5 years or upto the attainment
of the age of 65 years.
The Director post is equivalent to the senior professor at University level as per UGC
Scales of Seventh Pay Commission.
