Job Description
- Have an urgent requirement of district manager. Prefered candididates with the experience in providing CSP centers.
- Despite the large size and depth of India's financial system, the majority of the rural poor do not have access to formal financial services. Having proven that financial services can be adapted to meet the needs of poor households and contribute to the fight against poverty. The challenge is to provide the same benefits to India's rural poor in a financially sustainable way.
- Drishtee has worked on this model in three states (for Banking) and two states in Micro finance and the outcomes have been very encouraging. Unlike the traditional Self Help Group (SHG) approach, Drishtee has leveraged on the entrepreneur's knowledge of the village community and the village ecosystem and has found that there are clear possibilities of:
- Creating viable business opportunities for entrepreneurs in villages doing primarily financial services (including financial inclusion services, micro finance and insurance)
- Help create an ecosystem with relevant micro-enterprises that can be funded at reasonable interest rates. These enterprises can be supported by Drishtee to create market linkages, agriculture related businesses and even health
