Document Control Jobs in Chennai - Virescent Infrastructure

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Working with various functions and vendors to migrate the information obtained from M&A to the Virescent system
2. Maintaining and verifying existing physical records - developing a department-wise comprehensive index for information and creating a migration plan by interacting closely with the department head
3. Maintaining an inventory of all corporate records and related metadata in the office and off-site vendor storage facilities
4. Coordinating and tracking record movement (pick up/delivery in and out) from one location to another location or to the storage facility provider
5. Ensuring effective retrieval of records (physical as well as digital) in response to audits and dealing with inquiries and requests for information from both internal and external users, ensuring that records are easily accessible when needed
6. Establishing new record-management systems and coordinating with the vendors and internal team to implement the data migration plan, including overseeing the digitization and transportation of information
7. Ensuring that corporate records are organized, indexed, classified, and stored properly
8. Managing and continually improving the management of record-holdings, in keeping with generally accepted recordkeeping principles
9. Recording digitization - overseeing the switch from paper to electronic record-keeping
