Job Description
§ Develop and maintain code developed in ASP.NET using C#
§ Troubleshoot and ensure timely and effective resolution of any issues with the project
§ Perform integration of new code with existing code and tools
§ Participate in project status meetings as required and provide project status update with respect to work on hand.
§ Should be able to handle complex coding independently & resolve issues
§ Prefer a small team, fast paced work environment
§ Should be creative and able to bring new ideas to solve the business problems, should be a self starter.
§ Able to convince teams on a good idea, be assertive where required.
Desired Candidate Profile:
o Expertise in software design & development using .NET development tools on web using ASP.net, jQuery, C#.Net, MS SQL, Web Reporting, 3rd Party Controls (e.g. Infragistics, Component One). Crystal reports ,coding standards and n-tier architecture.
o Excellent knowledge of ASP.net, ADO.NET, JQuery, C# 4.0/3.5, SQL Server 2008/2005, HTML/DHTML, XML, Java Script, AJAX Techniques.
o Working experience of web based application development is a must; experience of desktop based systems would be an advantage.
o Exposure to Web services, Cloud/SaaS architecture, knowledge of WCF would be an advantage.
o Exposure to Open Source Repositories like GitHub, CodePlex, SourceForge.Net are added advantage
o Hands on experience on SQL Server, complex procedures and triggers. Must have exposure to query optimization, index building and reporting.
o Familiarity with at least one source safe tools preferably VSS
o Any Engineering/ Computer Science Graduate / PG
