Job Description
One Year Skill Development Diploma Training Programme conducts Dr. Yashwant Singh Parmar University of Horticulture and Forestry for Horticulture Supervisors and Six months gardener course under MIDH
Project titled: “One Year Training Programme for Horticulture Supervisors under HRD component(IDH-001-51)
For admission to One year Horticulture Supervisor Course, the minimum qualification prescribed is 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized University/Board with minimum 45 % marks for general candidates and 40 % for SC/ST candidates where as for admission to Six months Gardeners’ course, the minimum qualifications would be 8th pass with minimum 40 % marks for general candidates and 35 % for SC/ST candidates. The basis of selection will be respective merit of qualifying examination(s).
For both these courses, the candidates should be Domicile of Himachal Pradesh.
No.of Seats: 25 seats for each course are to be filled up.
Stipend :A stipend of Rs 1500 per month per beneficiary under One year Horticulture Supervisor course and Rs 1000 per month per beneficiary under Six months Gardeners’ course will be paid.
At the end of the training, Supervisors will be awarded a Diploma in Horticulture and Gardeners a Certificate of training in Horticulture.
