This is a full-time on-site role at Vipul HVAC Solution, located in Surat. The available position is for a Draftsman. The day-to-day tasks for these roles include:
Creating detailed technical drawings and plans, collaborating with engineers and architects, revising drawings based on feedback.
Proficiency in drafting software and technical drawing skills (for Draft Man)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Draftsman to join our design and engineering team. The candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed technical drawings and plans for various construction, engineering, or manufacturing projects. The role requires proficiency in CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software and close collaboration with architects, engineers, and project managers.
The ideal candidate must have strong drafting skills, an understanding of design standards, and the ability to accurately convert conceptual layouts into precise technical drawings. Experience in civil, mechanical, or architectural drafting will be a strong advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Technical Drawing & Design:

Prepare detailed 2D and 3D drawings using CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit, etc.).

Create technical plans, elevations, layouts, and sections as required.

Interpret design concepts and convert them into accurate working drawings.

Prepare assembly and fabrication drawings when required (for mechanical projects).
2. Collaboration with Engineers & Architects:

Work closely with project engineers, architects, and senior designers to understand design intent and requirements.

Attend design meetings and site visits (if required) to gather additional input for accurate drawings.

Clarify doubts with supervisors and incorporate design corrections quickly.
3. Drawing Revisions & Modifications:

Revise drawings based on feedback from project leads, clients, or technical supervisors.

Maintain versions and documentation of all drawing changes.

Ensure all updates are made accurately and on time.
4. Documentation & File Management:

Organize and maintain drawing files and project folders, both digitally and physically.

Ensure that all drawings are properly labeled, scaled, and follow project or company standards.

Maintain drawing logs and update drawing statuses as needed.
5. Adherence to Standards:

Follow local and international drawing standards and practices (BIS, IS codes, ASME, etc.).

Ensure that all designs meet safety, regulatory, and compliance requirements.

Apply dimensioning, tolerances, and annotation practices as per engineering conventions.
