Job Description
We are seeking qualified and detail-oriented Draftsmen with experience in one or more of the following disciplines: Architectural, Structural, Electrical, and MEP. The ideal candidates will work closely with our in-house engineers and design teams to convert conceptual designs into precise technical drawings for use in project planning and execution.
Key ResponsibilitiesInterpret design briefs, sketches, and markups to develop accurate 2D/3D technical drawings.
Collaborate with engineers and architects to refine preliminary engineering concepts.
Ensure drawings meet project specifications, standards, and codes (Omani/local/international).
Update, revise, and maintain drawing records based on client/engineer feedback.
Organize and archive drawing sets, version control, and final delivery files.
Develop floor plans, elevations, sections, and layout drawings.
Create conceptual, schematic, and detailed design drawings.
Incorporate building regulations and zoning codes into layouts.
Generate structural framing plans, rebar details, foundation layouts.
Prepare RCC detailing and coordinate with structural engineers.
Ensure alignment with architectural and MEP drawings.
Prepare lighting layouts, power distribution plans, and single-line diagrams.
Detail conduit routes, DB schedules, and coordination with site drawings.
Follow IEC and local electrical drafting standards.
Create layouts for HVAC, plumbing, drainage, firefighting, and water supply systems.
Coordinate across all MEP services and architectural/structural disciplines.
Prepare schematics, coordination drawings, and service routes.
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit, BIM, SketchUp, Navisworks is a plus.
Excellent understanding of engineering symbols, scales, and drawing standards.
Basic knowledge of building construction materials and systems.
Good communication and coordination skills.
