Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Draftsperson who is proficient in AutoCAD and passionate about architectural design and detailing. Key Responsibilities:
2D Drafting & Technical Drawings:

Create high-quality and accurate 2D architectural drawings using AutoCAD.

Develop floor plans, elevations, sections, and detailed construction drawings as per design inputs.

Update existing drawings as per revisions, redlines, or client feedback.
Architectural Detailing:

Work on detailed construction documents including joinery details, material layouts, wall sections, window/door schedules, etc.

Coordinate with senior architects or engineers to ensure that all drawings are technically sound and compliant with local codes and standards.
Project Coordination:

Collaborate with other team members including architects, designers, structural consultants, and MEP teams.

Ensure that design intent is accurately reflected in the technical documentation.

Participate in design reviews, revisions, and quality checks of drafting work.
Documentation & Compliance:

Maintain and organize drawing sets and ensure proper document control procedures.

Help compile drawing packages for submission to clients, consultants, or municipal authorities.

Ensure that all drawings comply with relevant regulations, zoning laws, and building codes.
Time Management & Deadlines:

Manage assigned drafting tasks effectively and deliver high-quality drawings within set deadlines.

Prioritize tasks based on project timelines and communicate proactively about workload challenges.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Technical Skills:

Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D drafting is essential)

Basic understanding of architectural concepts and building systems

Familiarity with drawing standards, detailing techniques, and layering practices

Experience in preparing working drawings and construction documents
Soft Skills:

Education Requirements:

Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Drafting, or related field
