Your Role and Responsibilities
You will have the opportunity to be a part of the Expert Labs organization where you develop critical-thinking skills and work with Subject Matters Experts to resolve complex problems for our worldwide clients. In addition, you will help drive delivery to leading-edge technology in Openshift, Cloud Pak for Data, Watson Knowledge catalog, Instana and Watson Artificial Intelligent IT Operations (Watson AIOps).
Responsibilities
The Essential Management operations and support team ensures the service is highly available and fully optimized in a 24/7/365 environment. Team members are located worldwide, and frequently communicate and work with customers and other development team members to ensure the services are optimal. As a Shift or duty, manager responsibilities include operations and logistics coordinators for the Shifts covering 24/7/365 prepare, review & revise roster on resource availability. Manage SLA’s for the tickets - operationalize handover to next shift Shift work is required, act as a customer escalation manager on shift. The shift duty manager must have strong leadership and project management skills, ability to clearly communicate with clients and executives in a fast-paced high-pressure environment. Highly motivated to ensure a high level of client success, with exceptional attention to detail and process.
Flexibility to work in different time zones as this is shift based work including weekends.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Experience managing clients’ expectations and large-scale delivery projects
- Bachelor’s degree or technical equivalent experience
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Familiarity with Compute, Storage and Networking components from IBM Cloud, AWS, Azure
- Familiarity with Red Hat OpenShift
- Salesforce, PagerDuty and Slack integration experience
- Project Management Certification
