Job Description
Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and digitally savvy E-commerce Executive to join our team. The E-commerce Executive will be responsible for supporting and managing the day-to-day operations of our online store(s), product listings, promotions, and customer experience. This role is integral to driving online sales performance, ensuring product visibility, managing content accuracy, and helping create a seamless user journey from browsing to checkout.
As an E-commerce Executive, you will work closely with marketing, design, logistics, and IT teams to ensure smooth operations and continuous growth of our digital sales platforms, including our official website and third-party marketplaces like Amazon, Flipkart, eBay, etc.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Online Store Management

Oversee and manage the daily operations of the company’s e-commerce website and online marketplaces.

Ensure product listings are accurate, complete, and optimized for search and conversion, including titles, descriptions, images, specifications, and pricing.

Upload new product listings and remove discontinued items in a timely manner.

Monitor stock availability and coordinate with inventory and warehouse teams to avoid overselling or stockouts.
2. Content Management

Collaborate with the content and design teams to maintain a consistent and attractive visual appearance across the online store.

Create and update banners, landing pages, promotional graphics, and seasonal content on the website.

Ensure all product information and media are in line with brand guidelines.
3. Order & Customer Management

Monitor and process online orders efficiently, ensuring smooth coordination with logistics and customer service teams.

Track order fulfillment and ensure timely dispatch and delivery.

Assist in resolving customer issues or inquiries related to orders, returns, shipping, and payments.

Help implement systems to improve customer satisfaction and reduce cart abandonment.
4. Marketplace Optimization

Upload and manage product listings on third-party platforms (e.g., Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, eBay, etc.).

Monitor performance metrics such as Buy Box, listing quality, and customer feedback.

Ensure all content complies with marketplace standards and SEO guidelines.

Handle promotions, sponsored product ads, and pricing strategies for marketplaces.
5. Sales Analysis & Reporting

Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as traffic, conversion rate, bounce rate, and average order value.

Generate daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports to assess product performance and campaign effectiveness.

Use tools like Google Analytics, Excel, or BI dashboards to derive actionable insights for improving sales.

Identify trends and opportunities in user behavior and recommend optimization strategies.
6. Marketing Coordination

Coordinate with the digital marketing team to support SEO, PPC, email campaigns, and influencer collaborations.

Assist in planning and executing promotions, seasonal sales, flash deals, and coupons.

Contribute ideas for digital marketing campaigns focused on driving traffic and increasing conversions.
7. Process Improvement & Innovation

Identify gaps in the customer journey and suggest ways to enhance user experience.

Monitor competitors' pricing, campaigns, and website features, and recommend improvements.

Assist in testing new tools, plugins, and integrations to improve website functionality.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, E-commerce, or related field.

Proficient in using e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, BigCommerce, or similar CMS tools.

Familiarity with third-party marketplaces like Amazon Seller Central, Flipkart Seller Hub, or others.

Basic knowledge of SEO, Google Analytics, and paid advertising platforms is a plus.

Strong skills in Excel or Google Sheets, including basic formulas and data organization.

Excellent organizational, time-management, and communication skills.

Attention to detail with a focus on quality, accuracy, and consistency.

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
