Job Description
Job Summary:
The E-commerce Executive plays a critical role in managing and growing the company’s online presence across various digital marketplaces and e-commerce platforms. This role is responsible for handling day-to-day operations including product listing, order processing, inventory coordination, online promotion, reporting, and customer engagement. The goal is to increase visibility, sales, and customer satisfaction across platforms such as Amazon, Flipkart, Meesho, Shopify, Myntra, eBay, company website, or other local/international e-commerce portals.
An ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and familiar with the fast-paced environment of digital commerce.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Product Listing & Catalog Management

Upload and update product information including titles, descriptions, pricing, images, and specifications across all e-commerce platforms.

Ensure product listings are SEO-optimized and aligned with platform guidelines.

Regularly audit live listings to ensure accuracy, availability, and correct categorization.
2. Order & Inventory Management

Monitor incoming orders from all platforms and ensure timely processing and fulfillment.

Coordinate with warehouse or logistics teams for stock availability and dispatch.

Update inventory levels on e-commerce portals to avoid stockouts or over-selling.

Manage return orders, refunds, and replacements efficiently.
3. Customer Service & Support

Respond to customer queries and complaints received via e-commerce platforms or email.

Ensure high customer satisfaction by resolving issues quickly and professionally.

Monitor ratings, reviews, and feedback on listings and take corrective action when needed.
4. Promotions & Marketing
-
Plan and execute online promotions, discount campaigns, and festive season sales in coordination with marketing.

Manage deals, coupons, sponsored ads, and paid promotions on platforms like Amazon Ads or Flipkart Ads.

Track marketing performance metrics (CTR, conversion rates, impressions) to optimize campaigns.
5. Marketplace Relationship Management

Maintain relationships with category managers from e-commerce platforms.

Stay updated on new features, policies, and promotional opportunities.

Ensure compliance with marketplace standards, documentation, and branding guidelines.
6. Reporting & Analytics

Prepare regular sales reports by platform, product, and campaign.

Analyze trends in traffic, conversion, top-performing products, and customer behavior.

Share insights with the sales and marketing team to develop new strategies.
7. Website & Shopify

Support product listings and content updates on the brand’s own website or Shopify store.

Work with the web development team for updates, banner uploads, seasonal themes, and UI changes.

Monitor website analytics via Google Analytics, heatmaps, etc., and assist in improving the user experience.
Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in E-Commerce, Business, Marketing, or IT-related field.

Strong working knowledge of platforms like Amazon, Flipkart, Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, etc.

Basic knowledge of SEO, digital marketing, and Google Analytics is an advantage.

Proficient in MS Excel, data entry, and using CRM or e-commerce management tools.

Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
