Job Description
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Maintain and update the inventory on our e-commerce portal using Zoho e-commerce
2. Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure accurate product listings, descriptions, pricing, and availability
3. Assist in monitoring inventory levels and coordinating with suppliers for timely replenishment
4. Work closely with the development team to implement changes and enhancements to the portal's user interface and functionality
5. Support order processing, including purchase order creation, verification, and tracking
6. Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of purchased items and resolve any discrepancies
7. Collaborate with the finance team to reconcile invoices and payments related to the procurement process
8. Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in e-commerce and contribute ideas to enhance our procurement procedures
Qualifications:
1. Pursuing/completing MBA with an engineering background or a related field
2. Basic understanding of e-commerce concepts and familiarity with online shopping platforms
3. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
4. Problem-solving abilities and the ability to work independently as well as in a team
5. Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with different stakeholders
6. Enthusiasm to learn and grow in the e-commerce field
