Job Description

Required Skills : MS SQL, Microsoft SQL, Stored Procedures, Triggers, Performance Tuning

Proven experience in developing Complex SQL Code in SQL Server 2005/2008/2012

T-SQL Queries with All Types of Joins in Procedures, Triggers, Cursors

Ability to write complex stored procedures using Common Table Expression (CTE), Aggregate functions, Cross Tab queries, Pivot & Un-Pivot queries

Extensive experience in Performance Tuning, Query Optimization, Indexing Strategies, etc.

Senior Software Engineer will be assigned a specific set of tasks in a Product Release or Implementation Project. The set will consist of development activities for multiple Change Requests/Product Gaps, End to End product regression support.

Supporting the implementation team in carrying out the Sanity/Smoke test in the client environment, onsite support, fixing UAT defects, etc. He/she will be given the responsibility to review work done by a set of junior team members as well.

Should be hands on in designing, coding, debugging, technical problem solving, prototyping & performance tuning

Expertise in understanding Functional Specification Documents for Change Requests/Product Gaps and converting them to optimal DB design including tables, constraints, indexes, etc.

Should provide effective and efficient access to information stored and stored in databases. Should provide expertise and guidance in the design, implementation and maintenance of databases.

Perform unit testing of the tasks with impact completely analyzed & tested
