Checking manuscript tracking system, pre-submission enquiries and new submissions Quality checking on submissions compliance with publication policies. Communicating with authors/editors/reviewers where necessary by phone and email taking care of accepted manuscript files with publishing requirements and communicating with authors for missing material if necessary Ensuring that database records are updated and that manuscript submissions are uploaded correctly into the submissions system Giving general administrative assistance to the editors Assisting colleagues when required.
