Job Description
We are looking for interns to join our editorial team immediately.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Researching industry-related topics (combining online sources, interviews, and studies)
2. Writing, rewriting, editing, and proofreading text
3. Making sure that house style is adhered to (house style means the particular style conventions of a given publication, e.g. the publication's tone and punctuation/grammar conventions)
4. Writing headlines, picture captions, and story summaries
5. Editing reports and press releases
6. Liaising with journalists, reporters, and editors
7. Verifying information and story details
8. Gathering and preparing routine information, including sports results
9. Designing page layouts
10. Ensuring that stories are the right length and correctly placed on pages
11. Sizing photographs and placing them within features
12. Making sure that stories are accurate and do not compromise the legality
Only those candidates can apply who:
1. are available for the work-from-home job/hybrid internship
2. can start the work from home job/internship immediately
3. are available for a duration of 6 months - 1 year
